The Edinburgh launch of the Scottish Writers’ Centre took place last year as part of the Edinburgh Book Fringe at Word Power Books. This year, we return to Word Power on 18 August when Donal McLaughlin will introduce three writers who have contributed a great deal to the creation of the SWC: Gerrie Fellows (Window for a Small Blue Child), Maggie Graham (Sitting Among the Eskimos) and Carol McKay (co-author, with Eileen Munro, of As I Lay Me Down to Sleep). Do come along and enjoy an hour of Poetry & Fiction.
